Wen Ting-yun

Wen Tingyun (温庭筠) was a native of Qixian, Shanxi, circa 813 – 870 AD. Wen Tingyun was a writer of late Tang Dynasty lyrics, once known as the “originator of the flower room”. When he was young, he was a brilliant young man, but his behavior was so licentious and unrestrained that he frequented brothels and brothels, and most of his talent was lost in these lives.
