Story:

At the end of the Shang Dynasty in China, King Zhou of the Shang Dynasty was so tyrannical and unethical that he aroused great indignation among the people, and even the vassals could not see him as a ruler. At that time, a vassal named Ji Chang (King Wen of Zhou) was able to follow the laws of his ancestors, inherit the achievements of his ancestors, and be courteous to the noblemen, and grew stronger. In addition, he advocated benevolent rule and opposed the tyranny of King Zhou, so King Zhou feared that he would be detrimental to him and arrested him and imprisoned him in the prison. Later, Ji Fa, the son of Ji Chang (i.e. King Wu of Zhou), reigned and united with the lords to invade Shang Zhou. The army crossed the Yellow River and marched to the Shang capital, and fought a big battle against King Zhou's army at the place of Muye.

Before Ji Fa led the army to attack King Zhou, he made a vow to the whole army: "The crime of Shang is punished through and through; it is punished by the order of heaven." Ji Fa enumerated all the crimes of Shang Zhou and said that the bad deeds done by Shang Zhou had come to an end and that he was so sinful that he should be punished. He called on everyone to work together to eliminate the evil for the people.

During the Makino War, the slaves and prisoners of war in the Shang army, who had their hearts set on Ji Fa, revolted and turned their spears to help the Zhou marshal in battle. "All of them fell soldiers to war to open King Wu". Ji Fa took advantage of the situation to "the main force rushed to the emperor Zhou division", violently rushed to kill the Shang army. So the Shang army of more than 100,000 people instantly collapsed. Seeing that the momentum was gone, King Zhou fled back to Chaoge that night and burned himself to death on the Deer Terrace. The Zhou army took advantage of the victory and captured Chaoge, destroying the Shang Dynasty. After that, King Wu dispersed his troops to conquer all the vassals of the Shang Dynasty and purge the remnants of the Yin Shang.

The Shang Dynasty fell.
