Origin:

Story:

According to legend, in ancient times there were two very similar-looking beasts in the East, called wolves and woes respectively. They were both beasts that liked to steal and eat pigs and sheep from farmers. The only difference between them is that the wolf has two long front legs and two short hind legs, while the wolf has two short front legs and two long hind legs. These two beasts often go together to steal pigs, sheep and other domestic animals.

Once, a wolf and a wolf came to a sheep pen together and saw that the sheep in the pen were many and fat, so they wanted to steal and eat them. But the wall and the door of the sheep pen were very high, and the wolf and the wolf could not climb there. So they came up with a plan. First, the wolf rode on the neck of the wolf, then the wolf stood up and lifted the wolf up, and then the wolf crossed the sheep pen and stole the sheep out. After deliberation, the wolf crouched down and the wolf climbed onto the wolf's body. Then, Liao grabbed the door of the sheep pen with his front feet and slowly straightened himself. After the wolf straightened himself, the wolf grabbed the door of the sheep pen with his feet, slowly straightened himself, put his two long front feet into the sheep pen and stole the sheep out of the sheep pen.

This kind of sheep stealing is often done by wolves and lambs in partnership. If wolves and lambs do not cooperate, they cannot steal the sheep. The farmers who raised sheep would have lost much less. However, the wolf and the wolf often cooperated in this way, and when they walked together, they looked very close.

Later, people summed up the idiom of "wolves and lambs are treacherous" according to this phenomenon, which is used to describe those people who collude with each other to do bad things.
